A top reconstructed from an original 19th-century garment, preserving the character and intricate detailing of the antique lace. The original piece has been carefully restored, with long sleeves crafted from silk to complement the historical textile and introduce a contrasting texture. The combination of antique lace and silk brings together traditional craftsmanship and considered construction, giving new life to an original garment while retaining its distinctive character.
